Out of 15 contractors invited to testify at Tuesday’s hearing, only 11 responded, with just seven actually appearing—represented by their owners, executives, or legal counsels. In response to the glaring absences, the committee swiftly approved the issuance of subpoenas to compel the attendance of those who failed to show up.
