The House Committee on Justice finds the two impeachment complaints against President Bongbong Marcos to be “insufficient in substance.”
According to the majority who won the vote, there is no evidence to prove that the President had direct orders related to budget insertions and ‘allocables’.
The decision disappointed one of the complainants.
While a complaint endorser says the Committee appears to have already judged the evidence.
Meanwhile, Malacañang stated that the President himself is confident he has committed no impeachable offense.
The President’s message was, “let’s move forward”.
