In line with the 500th Anniversary of the Philippine Part in the First Circumnavigation of the World, the Introduction of Christianity into the Philippines, and the Victory at Mactan; and the 450th Araw ng Maynila; the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, the National Quincentennial Committee, in partnership with the City Government of Manila and the Intramuros Administration present the 450th Araw ng Maynila Lecture Series.

This five-part online lecture series will tackle different perspectives on the founding of the Spanish City of Manila in the location of the ancient Maynila, the more than four centuries of history it has endured at the crossroads of cultures and civilizations, and the unique identity its people produced as the capital of the Philippines.

For Episode 3, NHCP Historic Sites Development Officer II Gerwill Cruz shares the voluminous survey files of the NHCP and shows examples of the thousands of historic sites and structures that make up the City of Manila.
