A powerful 6.9-magnitude earthquake struck central Philippines late Tuesday night, leaving at least 69 people dead and injuring over 140, according to officials. The epicentre was near Bogo City in Cebu province, at a shallow depth of 5 km, causing widespread destruction in homes, historic structures, roads, and infrastructure.
