Dateline Philippines: Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto said Monday (October 20) he is hoping Senate President Pro Tempore Panfilo “Ping” Lacson will retake the vacant chairmanship of the Blue Ribbon Committee.
Sotto also weighed in on the proposed 2026 budget and the Senate’s position on the Ombudsman’s move to lift the previous restrictions on all government officials’ Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN).
