Lanao del Sur Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong acknowledged that there are moves to unseat President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., but questioned whether the opposition has the numbers to push through an impeachment complaint.

“The problem with filing an impeachment complaint is how to really convince more than 300 — or at least a sizable number — of members of the House to support it. Filing is one thing, and gaining support is another,” Adiong said.

“If you ask me personally, I don’t see any policy or directive that can be attributed to the President that would also constitute an impeachable offense,” he added. #OnPoint
