A House panel on Monday (February 2) found the impeachment complaints against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. “sufficient in form.”
The House Committee on Justice declared on Monday (February 2) the two impeachment complaints — filed by lawyer Andre de Jesus and another from progressive group leaders and congressmen from the Makabayan bloc — against Marcos sufficient in form.
Batangas Second District Rep. Gerville Luistro, chair of the panel, explained in a subsequent press conference what “sufficiency in form means,” emphasizing that determining the complaints’ substance will be done in a separate hearing on Tuesday.
