π° Casino Stop
We started at Solaire Resort & Casino, one of Manilaβs most famous casino resorts β glittering lights, grand interiors, and plenty of gaming action.
π Rush Hour MRT Experience
Taking the train during peak hours was a tight squeeze. Some front carriages are reserved for women only, which is common in several Asian cities. Thankfully the air-conditioning was strong, which made the packed ride more bearable.
π Christmas at SM North EDSA
Next stop was SM North EDSA, where the Christmas decorations were spectacular.
β Northern Star Display
The centerpiece installation called βNorthern Starβ features a massive illuminated star structure glowing above the mall atrium.
π³ World Tree Installation
Another highlight is the βWorld Treeβ, surrounded by festive ribbons, sparkling lights, and elaborate holiday decorations. These supersized Christmas displays launched in October 2025, showing just how seriously the Philippines celebrates the season.
π Night View Back in Ortigas
Returning to Ortigas Center, we passed the brightly lit BSA Twin Towers, known for their vertical animated lights glowing across the facade at night.
