#TheBigStory | House Committee on Justice Chairperson Rep. Gerville Luistro said the current impeachment proceedings should not be influenced by the Supreme Court’s recent decision on impeachment rules, stressing that the ruling has no bearing on the case at hand.
She explained that the ruling applies to the second mode of impeachment initiated by at least one-third of House members, while the complaints filed against President Bongbong Marcos were lodged by private individuals under the first mode.
