Vice President Sara Duterte has criticized House Speaker Martin Romualdez for allegedly ordering a lockdown of the House premises, which she claimed delayed medical response for her detained chief of staff Atty. Zuleika Lopez.
“Naniniwala ako na it was attempted homicide because she fears for her life,” Duterte claimed in an ambush interview. “Kasi imagine-nin mo naman, nine ‘yong biglang papasok sa kwarto mo.”
She voiced concern about Lopez’s mental state, describing how she had been fiddling with a pen and was beginning to vomit.
