Tama na, sobra na, buwagin na, tanggalin na ang Kongreso! Ikulong ang mga kawatan gaya ng ginagawa sa America kung saan walang sinisino ang batas!
Ito ang sigaw ng mga Pinoy sa USA and all over the world. Lalo na ang mga kababayan sa Pilipinas.
Should reputable survey firms conduct their surveys today, one can be pretty sure Filipinos are overwhelmingly fed up with what their legislators are doing.
Instead of crafting laws, they are busy appropriating billions of funds for themselves. Remember that the only reason for their being in Congress is to enact laws for the benefit of their countrymen and interests of the nation.
It now looks like they are more drawn to looking for opportunities to fatten their bank accounts. Not all of them though, as there may be some of them who remain unscathed, and true and honest to their calling.
The 2O25 General Appropriations Act where they inserted the billions and which they passed, is a classic example of their greed for money.
How about the annual Budget enactments in the previous years when budget insertions began to become the practice ?
