On the island of Borneo, the state of Sabah in eastern Malaysia has been impacted by flooding. The district of Pitas, Kota Marudu in Sabah, Malaysia, is the most recent one to be affected by flooding. As of the 25th of January, the National Disaster Management Agency reported that a combined total of 607 individuals had been forced to from their houses in the districts of Kudat and Pitas.
