Manila is coming alive with colourful lights and glittering decor across the capital as the Philippines’ early Christmas season officially begins.
Throughout the country, the holiday spirit kicked off as early as September, with malls and public spaces unveiling festive displays and holiday-themed events, setting the tone months ahead of December.
Parks, streets and buildings are already getting their yearly glow-up as well, wrapped in bright lights and cheerful ornaments.
With more than 80% of Filipinos practicing Catholic faith, Christmas is one of the country’s biggest and most beloved celebrations.
