Presidential spokesperson Claire Castro on Wednesday (August 20) branded Vice President Sara Duterte’s leadership of the Department of Education as a “complete failure.”
Duterte earlier said during her Kuwait trip on Friday (August 15) that Philippine education remains stuck in “paper and pencil” while other countries have moved forward.
Castro pointed out that Duterte could have addressed the problem herself when she held the office in 2022 to 2024.
