On The Scene: Various groups gathered in Quezon City on Thursday (August 7) protesting Senate’s move to archive the impeachment case of Vice President Sara Duterte. Duterte’s camp says they do not yet consider as an absolute victory the Senate’s decision to archive the impeachment case against the second in command. 19 senators voted against starting the ouster trial in their chamber.
