Ito ay sa gitna ng mga panawagan na mag-inhibit ang mga senador na nagpakita o nagpahayag ng pagpabor o pagkontra sa Pangalawang Pangulo.
Sinabi naman ni Vice President Sara Duterte na kung ang pagiging biased ang pagbabasehan ng pag-inhibit, dapat din ipa-inhibit si Senator Risa Hontiveros.
