Presidents and general managers of top government contractors including Sarah Discaya (Alpha and Omega), Lawrence Lubiano (Centerways), Mark Allan Arevalo (Wawao Builders), and former District Engineer Henry Alcantara were among those who appeared at the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee’s second hearing on anomalous flood control projects on Monday (September 1).
Several other subpoenaed contractors skipped the proceedings and were cited in contempt, warning they will soon be arrested for defying the said order.
