A magnitude 6.2 earthquake rocked Surigao del Norte at 7:03 a.m. on Friday, state seismologists said.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the offshore tremor was traced 13 kilometers southeast of General Luna, a town on Siargao Island in Surigao del Norte province.
