WATCH: President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. expressed outrage after inspecting a supposed flood-control project in Brgy. Piel, Baliuag, Bulacan that has no visible construction, despite being recorded as 100% complete and fully paid (₱55.7M) to Syms Construction Trading.
“I’m getting very angry,” Marcos said, adding that he is considering filing economic sabotage charges against those responsible. He called the non-existent river wall a “perfect example of abuse” and warned that properly implemented projects could have prevented major problems in irrigation, flood control, and water supply.
