Full police visibility in Manila ordered ahead of holiday season
The Manila Police District, or MPD, will implement full police visibility during the coming holiday season. Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno gave this order, saying crime rates are expected to rise during the last quarter of the year. He says the MPD should deploy additional personnel in high-density areas such as Binondo, Recto, Quiapo, Ermita, Malate, and the University Belt.
