Senator Alan Peter Cayetano on Wednesday (November 26) grilled the Department of Health for its alleged failure to efficiently implement routine immunization programs, citing reports of either delayed delivery or near-expiry vaccines intended for children and senior citizens.
The senator raised his concerns during the Senate’s budget deliberations for the DOH where his sister, Senator Pia Cayetano served as the budget sponsor.
