Hybrid flood control needed in highly urbanized cities — Alcazaren

#TheBigStory | Urban planner and landscape architect Paulo Alcazaren said nature-based solutions (NBS) offer a more affordable and sustainable approach to addressing flooding compared to heavy concrete infrastructure.

However, he noted that these solutions are not always feasible in highly urbanized areas due to limited open space.
