'I imagined myself cutting his head': Sara Duterte on 'toxic' relationship with Bongbong Marcos

In a tell-all press conference on Friday (October 18), Vice President Sara Duterte recalled the exact moment when she realized that her relationship with President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. was “toxic.”

Duterte detailed Marcos’ supposed interaction with a child at a graduation ceremony they both attended. She alleged that Marcos embarrassed the child with his response to a request to be given the president’s watch as a “graduation gift.”

“I realized toxic na ‘yung relationship… I imagined myself cutting his head. Na-realize ko na toxic na ito… This is over. Tapos na,” she said.
