Intense gunbattles erupt in Tipo-Tipo, Basilan following killing of local official | ANC

Dateline Philippines: A firefight erupted between government forces and an armed group in Tipo-Tipo, Basilan on Tuesday (October 28) the local government said, while the Philippine Army described the conflict as “rido” or clan feud-related.

At least four people were wounded in the incident, authorities said.
