Biyernes ng madaling araw, nahagip sa CCTV ang pagsulpot ng suspek sa likuran ang paghampas ng kahoy sa likuran ng biktima habang kausap ang isang kapitbahay. Sinubukan pang habulin ng kapitbahay ang suspek pero mabilis siyang nakatakbo palayo.
Sa imbestigasyon ng barangay, nagmula ang insidente sa pagbabanta umano ng biktima sa suspek at kaibigan nito.
Ayon naman sa ina ng suspek, napag-initan lang ang magkaibigang naglalaro ng mobile game sa kalye. Inamin din ng ama ng biktima na ito’y nakainom at ipinagtatanggol lang ang kanyang anak na ngayo’y nagpapagaling.
Boluntaryo namang sumuko sa pulisya ang suspek. Inireklamo siya ng frustrated murder ng pamilya ng biktima.
