A strong earthquake shakes Cebu City on the night of Sept. 30, 2025, with tremors felt near Colon Night Market along Colon Street. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported that a magnitude 6.7 earthquake struck 17 kilometers northeast of Bogo City at 9:59 p.m. Bogo City is 100 kilometers away from Cebu City.
