A 7.5-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental at 9:43 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 10, said the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
It was initially reported as magnitude 7.6 before Phivolcs revised it to 7.5.
Phivolcs said the quake’s epicenter was located 62 kilometers southeast of Manay, Davao Oriental, at a depth of 10 kilometers. (MB video by Gabriell Galang)
