Malacañang called on the public to respect the Sandiganbayan’s decision acquitting former Senate President and current Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Juan Ponce Enrile of 15 graft charges involving ₱172.8 million in PDAF funds.
Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary Claire Castro emphasized that the Palace has no power to influence judicial rulings, citing the separation of powers under the Constitution.
