On the topic of public trust and investor confidence during the Senate’s budget deliberations, Senator Rodante Marcoleta on Tuesday (November 18) questioned the possible effects of the allegations made by Senator Imee Marcos against her brother, President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. to the country’s “declining economy.”

Imee had alleged that the president and members of the first family use illegal drugs — an accusation denied by the Palace and Marcos’ son, House Majority Leader Sandro Marcos.
