CCTV footage captures the moment the powerful 7.7-magnitude Myanmar earthquake on Friday March 28, 2025 caused large waves at a pool terrace atop a high-rise building in Bangkok, Thailand.
Footage released on social media showed water spilling out of a swimming pool at the top of the building as a child can be heard crying. The water flows down a set of stairs in the video below.
At least 144 people have been killed and more than 730 were injured in the powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar on Friday, according to the head of the Myanmar’s military government.
