Ombudsman to ask Senate to enforce 2016 dismissal order vs Joel Villanueva | ANC

Headstart: Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla said Thursday, October 23, that his office will ask the Senate to enforce a 2016 dismissal order against Senator Joel Villanueva.

The dismissal order was originally issued in 2016 by former Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales, who found Villanueva liable for misuse of public funds when he was a party-list representative.
