The Philippines and New Zealand convened the inaugural Vice- Ministerial Foreign Ministry Consultations (FMC) on 19 August 2025 in Manila in line with the commitment made by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and Prime Minister Christopher Luxon during the latter’s Official Visit to Manila in April 2024.
