Philippines shaking terribly today!! Earthquake in Leyte and Cebu, buildings destroyed
According to Phivolcs, the earthquake struck at exactly 9:59 p.m. local time, with a magnitude of 6.9 and a depth of 10 kilometers. The epicenter was located 17 kilometers northeast of Bogo City, Cebu.
Phivolcs is still monitoring the series of earthquakes in the Visayas and reminding the public to exercise caution and be alert for possible aftershocks. They also urged residents in Leyte, Cebu, and Biliran to stay away from the coast and avoid coastal areas.
