During the House Committee on Appropriations’ deliberation on the OVP’s proposed 2026 budget, Rep. Renee Co asked about the funding allocated for the security personnel and staff who accompanied Vice President Sara Duterte on her trips this year.
The vice president asked whether Rep. Co is related to Rep. Zaldy Co to which the Kabataan Party-list representative replied, “I have no familial relations po with Rep. Zaldy Co or any of their relatives po.”
VP Sara proceeded to answer the question by disclosing the cost of travel for her staff and security during her trips.
