Sen. Risa Hontiveros on Wednesday (August 21) received a print of the children’s book authored by Vice President Sara Duterte, a day after their heated exchange over the latter’s proposed 2025 budget that includes P10 million for distributing copies to students.

During a press conference, the lawmaker also reacted to the inclusion of a portrait of Duterte in the book, saying its likely purpose is to introduce the vice president to a generation of children.
Hontiveros went on to confirm that she intends to propose an amendment to the P10-million provision for the distribution of Duterte’s book.
