MANILA — Vice President Sara Duterte hinted on Thursday at a presidential bid during a Manila mayoral campaign event.
Duterte hinted at her presidential bid after coming onstage and removing the seal of the Office of the Vice President.
“Tanggalin ko lang po ‘yung seal ng aking opisina. Palitan natin ng seal ng Office of the President,” Duterte said.
While the crowd cheered with her hint, the vice president also high-fived Sen. Imee Marcos, the sister of incumbent President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
She then proceeded to joke with the senator saying she should change her Marcos surname and described her as a “matinong tao.”
