Senate President Escudero addresses impeachment concerns for VP Sara Duterte case
WATCH: Senate President Chiz Escudero delivers his manifestation during the Senate session today, June 9, 2025, regarding the convening of the Senate as an impeachment court with VP Sara Duterte on trial.
Escudero addresses several points raised during earlier debates by various senators, as well as the postponement of the impeachment trial.
Earlier, Senate Minority Floor Leader Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III formally moved to start the opening rites in the impeachment trial. Sen. Risa Hontiveros seconded the motion and delivered her manifestation.
