Tragedy in Philippines AGAIN! Monster Typhoon Uwan in Catanduanes, people in danger

The Philippines evacuated more than 100,000 residents in its eastern and northern regions as Fung-wong (Uwan) intensified into a super typhoon on Sunday. The Philippines will face its second devastating disaster, after being hit by Typhoon Tino a week ago.

On Sunday, November 9, Typhoon Uwan made landfall with sustained winds of 185 km/h (115 mph) and gusts of up to 230 km/h. Several videos shared by local media showed storm conditions in Catanduanes Province, particularly in the Virac region, showing powerful winds and flooding.

Storm warning signals have been raised across much of the Philippines, with Signal No. 5, the highest warning, raised in southeastern Luzon, including Catanduanes and the coastal areas of Camarines Norte and Camarines Sur, while Metro Manila and surrounding areas are under Signal No. 3.
