VP Sara Zimmerman Duterte-Carpio is the current Vice President of the Philippines (2022–present) and also serves as the Secretary of Education under President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
She is the daughter of former President Rodrigo Duterte and Elizabeth Zimmerman. Before becoming Vice President, she was the long-time Mayor of Davao City, following in the footsteps of her father.
