Vice President Sara Duterte opted not to respond when asked for her reaction to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s recent remarks about a possible impeachment case against her.
Marcos Jr. confirmed on Friday that he asked lawmakers to refrain from filing an impeachment complaint against the vice-president, claiming that it is “not important.”
Speaking at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center, Duterte said: “Hindi muna ako mag-comment sa mga remarks ni President Marcos.”
Instead, she gave updates on the status of the members of her staff who are recuperating at the hospital.
