The House Committee on Justice on Wednesday (February 4) found that the two impeachment complaints against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. were insufficient in substance. In a press conference following the vote, the panel’s chairperson Gerville Luistro gave further explanation on the decision, emphasizing that the “allegations must be based on personal knowledge and authentic records.”
